Alternatives to Violence Project run workshops called "Creating Peaceful Pathways": a powerful programme, which presents new and creative ways of responding to conflict situations.

They are for anyone who wants to make changes in their communication with partners, families, workmates, friends... or to strengthen their skills in leadership, community development and conflict resolution...

This workshop is a series of step by step experiences exploring themes such as:
Self esteem - Building self confidence and counteracting put downs
Communication - Improving listening skills and assertive expression
Creative conflict resolution - Getting in touch with inner transforming power. To resolve conflicts
Community Building - Acknowledging differences and recognising similarities
Trust - Allowing ourselves to trust others and to be trustworthy

Empowering individuals to liberate themselves and others from the burden of violence.

"Since the workshop I'm using different approaches to resolve conflict both at home and at work. It's really made a difference; I'm happier and more connected."

"I used to get so angry at my kids, it was ugly! After I did this workshop I have ways to deal with my anger. I'm so much closer to my kids. It makes me feel so good."

"It takes individuals, families and communities from violence to non-violence."

Workshop is run over one weekend.
Friday 5.30pm - 9.00pm (Dinner is provided)
Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm (Lunch is provided)
Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm (usually shared on Sunday)
